1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy explains how Draco Studio ("we", "us", "our") handles information across this website and the mobile applications we publish, including QRScan, DocScanProX, TVPilot, and our other apps (collectively, the "Apps"). Individual apps may provide additional, app-specific privacy details on their own pages or App Store listings.
2. Information we collect
We are built around collecting as little as possible. Depending on the app, this may include:
- Content you create — such as scanned documents, QR codes, photos, or notes. This stays on your device unless you choose to share or export it.
- Basic diagnostics — anonymous, aggregated crash and performance data used to keep the apps stable. This cannot be used to identify you.
- Support correspondence — if you email us, we receive your message and email address so we can reply.
We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, contacts, or precise location unless a specific feature you activate requires it and clearly explains why.
3. How we use information
We use the limited information above only to operate and improve the Apps, fix bugs, respond to support requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your content for advertising.
4. On-device processing
Wherever technically possible, our apps process your content locally on your device. For example, scanning, image enhancement, and text recognition run on your iPhone rather than on our servers. Files remain in the app's local storage until you delete them or share them somewhere else.
5. Third parties
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store; we never see your payment card details. Some apps may use Apple's own frameworks (for example, for on-device text recognition) which operate under Apple's privacy terms. We do not embed third-party advertising or tracking SDKs.
6. Data retention
Content you create is retained on your device for as long as you keep it. Support emails are retained only as long as needed to assist you and keep a reasonable record. Anonymous diagnostics are retained in aggregate form.
7. Your rights
Because your content lives on your device, you remain in control of it: you can view, edit, export, or delete it at any time within the app or your device settings. For any data you have sent us directly (such as support emails), you may contact us to request access or deletion.
8. Children
Our Apps are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes may be highlighted within an app or on this page.
