Our Story

How Draco Studio Came to Be

Draco Studio started with a simple frustration: most apps are built by teams who never actually talk to users. They prioritize features over feelings, code over craft, and ship dates over sense.

Our founders Alex and Marcus had seen this up close — Alex from the product side, Marcus from engineering — and decided to build the team they always wished existed. Small, senior, and obsessive about mobile experience.

Today, our apps serve over 10 million active users across iOS and Android. We still know every member of our team by name. We still read every App Store review. And we still believe the best products come from teams who truly care.

2020

Draco Studio founded by Alex Chen & Marcus Tran. First app reaches 100K users within 60 days of launch.

2021

Sophie Liu joins as Lead Designer. Team grows to 3. App reaches 1M users. Seed round closed.

2022

iOS & Android expanded with James and Riya. Second product launched, Series A secured.

2023–24

10M+ users milestone hit. Featured in App Store & Play Store Best of Year. Team continues to scale responsibly.

2025

New product in stealth mode. Expanding the team with senior mobile talent. The best is ahead.
